When Roman and I were just starting our journey in business, everything was quite practical and straightforward: we already had a company renting out monitors and gaming equipment. We understood the market well, knew our audience, and felt confident. But over time, we began to feel the urge to move forward - not just to scale, but to create something truly new and exciting.
The idea, as it often happens, came unexpectedly.
At that time, I Libi was struggling with insomnia. The nights felt long, and at some point I found myself scrolling through Instagram, trying to distract myself. That’s when the algorithm started showing me videos about virtual reality - people wearing headsets, эмоции, screams, laughter, total immersion in another world. At first it was just curiosity, but with each new video, a feeling kept growing inside me: “This is something special.”
I showed those videos to Roman.
Being a systematic thinker, he didn’t immediately give in to эмоции. Instead, he started digging deeper: studying the VR market, exploring how these projects are built, what formats exist, what franchises are out there. It was no longer just “interesting” - it became something to analyze.
And during this search, he came across the Another World franchise.
That was the moment when everything clicked. The concept, the visuals, the level of technology, the approach to customer experience - it all matched our vision of an ideal project. It wasn’t just another business idea. It felt like: “This is it.”
We began to study the model in detail, communicate with representatives, calculate the economics, and adapt the format to our experience and resources. And the further we went, the clearer it became: this was a natural continuation of our journey. We already had a gaming-related audience, we understood the technology, the service, and customer expectations. A VR club wasn’t just a new direction - it was the next level.
Choosing the city wasn’t random either.
Da Nang is a unique place. A rapidly developing city, a steady flow of tourists, a young audience, and a strong interest in new forms of entertainment. You can feel the energy of growth here, and we wanted to become part of that dynamic.
The decision wasn’t instant, but it was confident.
We understood the risks and knew we would have to learn a lot from scratch, adapt to a new country and a new market. But at the same time, there was a strong inner feeling that we were doing something right - that this wasn’t just a business, but an experience we could create for people.
That’s how our VR club, Another World, appeared in Da Nang.
A project that started with a sleepless night, a couple of random videos, and one precise decision: to go where things are truly exciting.
And perhaps that’s our core philosophy - not being afraid to step beyond the familiar and to create worlds of our own.
